This is our frequently asked questions page to answer questions about why the site is designed the way it is and what people can and can’t do on the site.
Q: Why don’t you link to YouTube videos of songs or other free media on the web?
A: Most of the free media on the web is pirated in that the artists do not get any pay for their songs when people listen to them. I believe that artists should be paid for their work. While there are some free sites on the web that do pay the artists for songs downloaded or streamed, these sites are driven by advertisements (many of them sexually suggestive) and I can not, in good conscience, subject my readers to those kinds of ads, especially during times when they are trying to be in a devotional attitude.
Note on this subject: I would love to add streaming media to this site so that readers/visitors could listen to the songs while reading the devotionals and lyrics but the legalities of paying for that kind of streaming are beyond my ability right now. If anyone has any specific knowledge of how this can be done, please contact me. Thank you!
