Millions of Christians listen to Contemporary Christian music lyrics every day but never really hear what the artists are saying in the lyrics. We turn on music to have it playing "in the background" and there's nothing wrong with that, but many of us don't realize that the lyrics of those songs often contain truths which can help us live our lives for God. Studying the lyrics of Christian Contemporary music and learning where those lyrics come from in the Bible can help bring us closer to God and to His will for our lives whenever we listen to the music again.

Millions of Christians also don't keep a daily devotional time because they have a hard time understanding the Bible or just don't feel like they get much out of it.
